Terms of Service

By accessing, joining or purchasing from desertcities.cc, operated from the Coachella Valley, California by KTN Taylor, which sells under the brand Desert Cities (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our store.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product descriptions at any time without notice. Colors and images are as accurate as possible; slight variations may occur due to monitor settings and to the printing process.

By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We accept major credit cards and other methods displayed at checkout, processed securely via Square.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. You will be notified and fully refunded if we cancel your order.

You can check out as a guest, or join to get an account. Anyone 13 or older may join. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these Terms for you.

• Your email. Join with an email address that's yours. We email you a link to set your password, and you can't sign in until you use it.
• Your password. Keep it to yourself. If you think someone else has used your account, email us at hello@desertcities.cc.
• Closing your account. Email us at hello@desertcities.cc and we'll close it. Our Privacy Policy says what we keep afterwards and why.
• When we can close it. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud or abuse, or one that breaks these Terms. Orders you've already paid for are still filled or refunded.
• The members' feed. Members can read our members' feed: early looks at new drops, and perks. A preview isn't an offer: what's for sale, its price and when it ships are what the store shows at checkout. The feed is covered by Intellectual Property below. We may change the feed, or end it, at any time.
• Our emails. Joining doesn't put you on our email list. You're on it only if you tick the box when you join, or sign up another way, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Order and account emails are sent either way.

Orders can't be changed or cancelled once placed, except as below.

If we can't ship your order within the time we've given you, we'll email you before that date with a new estimate, and you can cancel for a full refund.

This does not remove your right to return what can be returned: if you change your mind about an item that isn't final sale, you can return it unused within 30 days of delivery under our Returns & Refunds policy.

We ship within the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally.

Orders take 5–7 business days to make and pack before dispatch (only to pack, for an item made ahead). Items printed locally ship by USPS; items our print partner makes ship with the carrier it chooses. Both are estimates and are not guaranteed, but the cancellation right above always applies. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

Stickers, posters and personalized items made from your photo or artwork are final sale, except when they arrive damaged, misprinted or not as ordered. Anything else can be returned unused, in original condition, within 30 days of delivery.

Our Returns & Refunds page is the full and governing statement of this policy, including who pays return postage and how damaged or incorrect items are handled.

Custom screen-printing work is quoted and produced to your specification. It is not sold through the online store and is not covered by the 30-day return window above — the Custom Order Terms apply. See Custom Orders.

If you upload artwork, a photo or a design — for a custom order or for a personalized item like the photo hat — you confirm that:

• you own it, or have permission from whoever does, to have it printed;
• anyone recognizable in it has agreed to appear on the item (or you're their parent or guardian);
• it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, and isn't obscene, hateful or harassing.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us, and the printer that makes your item, permission to copy, crop, resize and print it to produce your order, and to keep it for the time described in our Privacy Policy.

We review every upload before it's printed. We may decline any order that we believe breaks these rules, and refund it in full.

You agree that we are not responsible for any claim arising from artwork or photos you supply.

We do not use your artwork or photo for anything other than your order without asking you first.

All content on this site — including logos, product images, copy, and design — is owned by or licensed to KTN Taylor. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. This does not apply to artwork you supplied yourself, which remains yours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KTN Taylor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our store or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

We stand behind what we sell. If something arrives damaged, misprinted or not as described, our Returns & Refunds page explains how we'll put it right. Apart from that and any rights you have under consumer protection law, we don't make further promises about our products, to the extent the law allows.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of our store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
